What started as one student visiting one facility in New Jersey has grown into a national program — with student-led chapters bringing free art sessions to seniors across the country.
The original chapter, where Palettes for Possibilities was born. Running sessions at The Bristal and surrounding assisted living facilities in the Tri-state area.
The first expansion chapter, bringing Palettes for Possibilities across the Hudson and into New York — run entirely by local student volunteers in the Riverdale community.
Palettes for Possibilities goes to the Midwest. The Chicago chapter marks the program's first step beyond the East Coast, establishing a foothold in the heart of the country.
Coast to coast. The San Francisco chapter brings Palettes for Possibilities to the West Coast, proving that the model works in any city where students care enough to show up.
Every chapter started the same way — one student who reached out and said they wanted to do this in their community. We handle the training, the lesson plans, and the support. You show up.
No prior art experience required. No funding needed. Just a willingness to give an hour a month to seniors who will genuinely light up when you walk in the door.
Send us a message and tell us where you are. We'll connect you with everything you need to get started.
We'll help you identify assisted living facilities in your area and make the initial outreach on your behalf.
We provide the lesson plan. You bring the energy. Your chapter is officially part of the Palettes for Possibilities family.
Reach out and we'll help you get started. It's simpler than you think.
